WHAT YOU'LL FIND IN THIS BOOK

106 pages of unique polyamorous wisdom

When Jessica and Joseph Daylover became polyamorous in 2013, there were little to no resources to guide them. When they became parents five years later, they found even fewer discussions of polyamorous parenting. Since then, they have wanted to help other couples navigate where they struggled and share what they've learned. In 2020, they started the Remodeled Love podcast and social media page, where hundreds of thousands of folks have enjoyed their trademark raw humor and vulnerability. Above all, they sought to normalize healthy and ordinary expressions of polyamory, and the fruits it can bring when children enter the picture; this book grew from such efforts. Part personal narrative, part guidebook, this e-book shares their polyamorous journey, pregnancy, and the difficulties and triumphs of raising small children. They also tackle current topics within the world of polyamory such as hierarchy, couple's privilege, mononormativity, and more. This work speaks to the newly polyamorous, the poly-curious, as well as the experienced, and also contains a workbook section with journaling prompts for those embarking upon the amazing path of polyamrous parenting.

OUR STORY

In order to fully understand who they are, The Daylovers give you a taste of how they got here. If readers are wondering if it's possible for a couple to evolve into polyamory after years of monogamy, their story is proof that it is. It wasn't always pretty, it wasn't always easy, but they did the work, and you can, too.

PREGNANCY & POLYAMORY

In this 3-part chapter Mrs. Daylover takes you on a journey of how to navigate the stigma of being a pregnant polyamorous mama, gives you her honest take on the pitfalls of polyamory during pregnancy, and offers a sweet message of hope to those who fear the weight of it all.

BEST PRACTICES: TIME-BANKING

In their Best Practices chapter, The Daylovers give you a thorough explanation and detailed look at their exclusive Time-Banking system, which they use to create equity within what they call their "Autonomous Time". For them "Autonomous Time" is any time away from their duties as parents, whether enjoying their own friends, hobbies, or lovers.

PAY WHAT YOU CAN

MUTUAL AID PRICING

"Pay What You Can" is a form of mutual aid in which the pricing of products and services are set on a sliding scale so that folks with more resources pay a higher price. By doing this, those with less resources can purchase at a price they can afford, making the book accessible to the most amount of people, while still honoring the time, wisdom, and talent the creators put into the product/service.

The Daylovers have set the value of their book at $25, and have created a sliding scale allowing folks to pay between $5 and $50.

They thank you for participating in this form of mutual aid with them, and most importantly, being a part of their mission to expand the cultural narrative on healthy relationships and polyamory.
